Shadow People

Walking in the pretty grey subway station
People flicker on the walls, people pass you by
Shadows darken and light breeds new creation
Where faces are mournful and all voices lie
Machines of steel and scattered feet
The drone of automated sounds
Fade in and out where both worlds meet

Trudging through the sewers transportation
Rats blink and flicker in the artificial light
Creatures of the dark, sighing as a nation
The busker sings of kings and crowns
Those that walk on two legs have the hardest bite
Those that walk two-legged come out at night
Trudging through the grimy grey subway station

Rock, Water, Love

Walking past the river bank I touch the muddy shore
Feeling safe, just a little bit more
I cuddle up to you and stay far from the cold
The strength of love is warm I’m told

But the current of events is not as solid as the rock on which we stand
The tide may take us far ashore into a foreign land
But connected we are always through the water of our soul
An endless love like the circles of a skipping stone

Together they will come and join in as a whole

Rise

Today I was born of a different time, age, world
Naked on the wooden floor of a home unknown
Melting into grains, a prisoner alone
In personal space; where only truth remains

Light dances on my skin, pink, rippling and warm
A silky hand massaging sun into my soul
Sweet music drips into the floor, into my whole
Slowly filling me with thoughts I so adore

Stars shine upon my hands, imprinted like diamonds
Wrapped in mist, beat of wings prepare for present day
Luminesce lights my eyes, love enlights my way
Today I was born as a dream; all heaven cries

Mirror of Fate

We are but a reflection in anothers eyes
As driven as the rain, as bright as the sun
Gods or monsters each and every one
Yet a reflection can be changed
Magnified or distorted into pieces
Smoothed out, no wrinkles or creases
So in the end, our reflection is but a glimmer
Of love, or fear or hope for the unknown
We are but a reflection
A view on short term loan

Thousand Wishes

Comfortably falling in the blackness of your eyes
My spirit spirals deep inside of you
Diving deeper make expectations all come true
Your beauty does not truth belie
In your mirror I reflect my happiness
An elusive tale of love confessed
Emotions all unite in common senses
With you, my love is peace and rest
All my thousand wishes perfectly addressed

Each breath

In missing you I have no absolution
Each breath takes me deeper into you
In loving you I have no substitution
The theatre of love shimmers true
A play by two, the stage is full
Yet my eyes see only your face
The dance begins, for us no rules
Love conducts and takes her rightful place

Puppy Love

All that remains of last nights youthful
Love and hope
Sad and wet pillow

Autumn Killing

Autumn leaves the trees are killing
Leaving summer’s green green fields
Bloodshed covers pavements’ filling
Humus forms of nature’s yields

Organic take-away, shred for ordeal
No justice for seasons, bloodred happy meal
Fresh flesh all devoured by cannibalism
And Authumn leaves the trees for filling

Toast

Why we love toast
When you are sick, toast makes you warm
When you are broke, toast won’t cost you an arm
When you are hungry, toast fills you up
And when you start, you just can’t stop

Rumours

Invisible and deadly
ready to cut you
Beware of the air
